Hi, my name is Nate Landes. I am a designer currently living and working in Seattle, WA. I am a driven creative professional passionate about designing for interaction, motion, web, and print. I have a love for emerging digital media, elegant typography, and the hope to use design to improve communication between people and the physical environments they interact with day–to–day.
After received my Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Design from The Ohio State University, I worked for four years as a graphic designer for Kroner Design in Boston, MA. Projects that I worked on included identity design, print, web design, motion graphics, and branding for clients ranging from small local businesses to global corporations.
I soon got the itch to further my design education, which eventually landed my at the University of Washington where I recently completed my Master of Fine Arts in Interaction Design. While working on my degree I had the opportunity to work on a number of cutting edge projects in collaboration with Intel Labs Seattle and the Boeing Flight Deck Concepts Center.
When I am not immersed in all things design, you can usually find me behind a drum kit, experimenting in the kitchen, or rooting on my beloved Boston sports teams. I have a thing for vinyl records, public transit maps, old school sports logos, and real spicy food.
